Instruction

Ms. Cammaroto has studio hours in Arlington and Falls Church, VA as well as through Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus. She has been teaching voice for nineteen years. Her students range from high school age to adult and perform at various levels and musical styles within the DC area. Former students have been awarded scholarships at The Peabody Conservatory of Music, Boston University, Tufts University, Berklee College of Music, Shenandoah Music Conservatory, James Madison University and George Mason University. Her emphasis is on vocal technique and musicianship, but Cara firmly believes in letting the student's taste and vocal qualities dictate musical style, genre & repertoire. Many of her adult students have been featured soloist and/or chorus members in The Washington Oratorio Society, The Paul Hill Chorale, The Congressional Chorus & Choralis. Her studios perform annual student voice recitals which are beloved events for the hosting communities featuring opera, art song, show tunes, jazz standards as well as acoustic pieces for voice and guitar.
